Steve Darcy, former campaign manager for outgoing Rep. Jim Cantwell, calls Kearney “best candidate to match Jim’s work ethic.”
MARSHFIELD- Steve Darcy, who served as campaign manager for outgoing Rep. Jim Cantwell, endorsed Patrick Kearney to replace Rep. Cantwell as the State Representative for Marshfield and Scituate.
Darcy said, “Patrick is clearly the best candidate to match Jim’s work ethic to Marshfield and Scituate. Whether it’s on flood insurance, seawall repairs, fighting for our fair share of local aid, or addressing the opiate crisis, Patrick is ready continue Jim’s legacy of getting results for our community. Like Jim, he is committed to bipartisanship and building diverse coalitions to support coastal towns.”
“I appreciate Steve’s support and look forward to proving him right as Jim Cantwell’s successor,” said Kearney. “As State Representative, I will continue Jim’s record of effective leadership and tackling tough issues.”
Kearney is a lifelong South Shore resident who serves as an Ensign in the Naval Reserve while also working in software sales. He is running for State Representative to be a leader on seawall, coastal resiliency, and maritime issues, while also working to make sure Marshfield and Scituate get their fair share of local aid and education funding.
