Kearney Endorsed by Carpenters Union Local 346

“It is more important now than ever before that our leaders understand first-hand
the value of union membership and organized labor,” says union.

SCITUATE, MASSACHUSETTS – Patrick Kearney, a Naval Reserve Officer, entrepreneur, and
Democratic candidate for State Representative from Plymouth 4th District, was endorsed by the
United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Local 346. In their endorsement, the
union cited his firsthand experience with organized labor as proof he is the right choice to fight
for working families on Beacon Hill.

“I appreciate the vote of confidence from Carpenters Local 346,” said Kearney, “The support
my campaign is getting from organized labor is mirrored by the support I’ve been getting from
working families as I campaign throughout the district. My diverse experience as a union
member and entrepreneur make me uniquely qualified to make sure workers are treated fairly
without burdening businesses with overregulation.”

“It is more important now than ever before that our leaders understand first-hand the value of
union membership and organized labor,” said Dennis Lassige, Business Manager for Local 346.
Kearney’s experience as a union member during his time working on lobster boats was a major
reason the union decided to endorse him in the 4th Plymouth District race.

Kearney has already been endorsed by NAGE, IBEW, Pressman’s Union, the Ironworkers
Union, and the Teamsters Union. He is the only candidate in the 4th District race to have received
an endorsement from a labor union.

Kearney is a lifelong South Shore resident who serves as an Ensign in the Naval Reserve while
also working in software sales. He is running for State Representative to be a leader on seawall,
coastal resiliency, and maritime issues, while also working to make sure Marshfield and Scituate
get their fair share of local aid and education funding. For more information, please visit
