Massachusetts Coalition of Police endorses Kearney for 4th Plymouth District seat,
citing his “commitment to the safety of the citizens of Massachusetts.”
SCITUATE - The Massachusetts Coalition of Police endorsed Patrick Kearney for State
Representative in the 4th Plymouth District, representing Marshfield and Scituate. In their
endorsement, the union cited his “commitment to the safety of the citizens of Massachusetts.”
“I appreciate the trust our men and women in blue have placed in me with this endorsement,”
said Kearney. “These are the people who keep our communities safe and it’s an honor to have
their support in the race to replace Representative Cantwell.”
Kearney will make public safety one of his major priorities as state representative, fighting to
ensure the Marshfield and Scituate police departments receive their fair share of state grants for
equipment and training. He believes that a professional, modern police force, supported by their
elected officials and community, is essential to maintaining the high quality of life residents of
Marshfield and Scituate have come to expect.
This is Kearney’s tenth endorsement by an organized labor union, the most of any candidate in
the 4th Plymouth race. Kearney is a lifelong South Shore resident who serves as an Ensign in the
Naval Reserve while also working in software sales. He is running for State Representative to be
a leader on seawall, coastal resiliency, and maritime issues, while also working to make sure
Marshfield and Scituate get their fair share of local aid and education funding.
