Patrick Kearney Endorsed By Pressmen’s Union Local 3.

Union: Kearney’s “compelling background as a union member and fishing mariner with military experience” makes him the best candidate.

SCITUATE, MASSACHUSETTS – Patrick Kearney, a Naval Reserve Officer, entrepreneur, and
Democratic candidate for the Plymouth 4 th District seat, was endorsed by Pressmen’s Union
Local 3, a conference of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. This is Kearney’s second
union endorsement this week, following the endorsement of Ironworkers Local 7. An apprentice
with IATSE Local 11, he is the only candidate in the 4 th District race who has that firsthand
experience with organized labor.

“I want to thank the working men and women of the graphic arts for their endorsement and look
forward to working with them as a State Representative,” said Kearney. “Organized labor knows
that effective political representation is essential to advancing the interests of working families
and I appreciate the confidence they’ve shown by endorsing me this early in the race.”

In his endorsement letter, Stephen Sullivan, President of Local 3, wrote, “Your compelling
background as a union member and fishing mariner with military experience are the exact values
our union members demonstrate every day. We work hard and play by the rules and we need
government to have our backs. Last night our membership endorsed your candidacy with the
expectation you will champion our shared values.”

Kearney is a lifelong South Shore resident who serves as an Ensign in the Naval Reserve while
also working in software sales. He is running for State Representative to be a leader on seawall,
coastal resiliency, and maritime issues, while also championing working families and making
sure Marshfield and Scituate get their fair share of local aid and education funding. For more
